Use Cases
Common use cases include heavy industrial equipment transport (generators, transformers, drilling rigs) and infrastructure & wind-farm components where concentrated weights and large footprints require modular low-loaders; it’s also used for plant relocation and oversized cargos requiring removable gooseneck access for easy nose loading.

Detailed Description
The Nicolas modular system uses a grid main-frame and high-tensile steel construction to achieve a high technical axle load — typically ~34 tonnes per axle line, and with a 10-axle configuration this yields typical transport capacities in the 300–340 tonne range depending on configuration and local rules. The platform is offered in standard widths around 2,990 mm with a very low minimum travel height (low position ≈ 770–900 mm depending on module and suspension), giving a low deck for safe centre-of-gravity control and easier loading.
The trailer delivers modularity and steerability (hydraulic/mechanical all-wheel steering with large steering angles) plus removable gooseneck convenience for nose loading; suspension stroke and adjustable height improve road clearance and permit legal axle loads on public roads. These features make it a flexible solution for contractors, heavy-lift logistics providers and project cargo buyers who need customizable payload, compact stowage, and easy assembly/disassembly.
